In some circumstances, Snap Send Solve will give you the option to be put in touch with certain water authorities and service providers, such as your local council or a state district provider. This is because the issue being reported may pose a safety hazard that needs to be dealt with immediately.
When you report a water issue using the Snap Send Solve app or form, you can make an impact on problems that may affect your local area, such as water waste, water quality, property damage, litter and other safety issues.
You can also be a part of helping Solvers from your local water authority fix problems that may cause potential risks and hazards, such as burst pipe and water main leaks.

When you Snap a water issue in your area, your photos, notes and location information help the Solver at your local water authority, council or service provider pinpoint active issues and start working to Solve them.
In most scenarios, someone from your local water authority will be sent out to assess the issue and take the appropriate next steps.
Some water authorities, councils and service providers will request that you contact them directly, which is an option that is made accessible on our app.
We’ve found that Snappers report high response rates and prompt resolutions when using Snap Send Solve, without time spent waiting on the phone or following up emails.
