Snap Send Solve in the Spotlight on ABC Radio South Australia

Recently, our Head of Marketing Julie Situ joined Rory McClaren on ABC Radio South Australia to chat about how Snap Send Solve is helping tackle illegal dumping, and plenty more, one photo at a time.

The interview was sparked by a community conversation about dumping in Elizabeth Grove. Several listeners quickly chimed in with a handy suggestion: “Use Snap Send Solve!”

So Rory invited Julie on-air to explain exactly how the app works, why it was created, and how it’s empowering people across Australia and New Zealand to make a difference in their local areas.

Julie shared the story behind our beginnings (hint: it started with a broken swing in a park) and walked through how easy it is to Snap a photo, send a report, and help Solve an issue, whether it’s dumped rubbish, a fallen tree, or a runaway trolley.

Here’s what Julie had to say about how the app works:

“Almost a million users have used our app now. The great thing about it is that we've got over 800, we call them Solvers, our responsible authorities, that means that it doesn't matter where you go across Australia or New Zealand, you can use this app to report any problem you see.”

We also loved hearing live listener feedback:

“This app works really, really, really well. Action has been taken so quickly, you can't believe it. I've been using it for quite a long time now and recommend it highly. 11 out of 10 to the developer.”

Couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
