Looking for the right people to help you with reporting power issues in your community?
We’re here to help connect you with the responsible council, authority or company – we call them Solvers – to report power issues in Australia or New Zealand when you use the Snap Send Solve app, or create a Snap using the form below.
You can locate the following options under the ‘Power’ incident type on the Snap Send Solve app, or simply use the form above to create a Snap:
For most power issues, creating a Snap using our app or the form above is simple and straightforward.
Snap Send Solve allows you to capture details with app features such as image capture and geo location tracking, that allow you to report power issues in less than 30 seconds.
This makes your Snap super easy to Solve. Just Snap a photo, add a description and we’ll notify the right people!
In some circumstances, Snap Send Solve will give you the option to be put directly in touch with certain power companies and service providers, such as Jemena and NBN.
This is because the issue being reported may pose a safety hazard that needs to be dealt with immediately.
Not sure who to report traffic light faults to? You can create a Snap with the “Traffic Lights” incident type under “Power”.
Your Snap will be sent to someone from your local road authority.
Not sure who to report street lights out to? You can create a Snap with the “Street Light Outage/Damage” incident type under “Power”.
Your Snap will be sent to someone from your local power company.
Not sure who to report power pole damage to? If you see a power line down or want to report a leaning power pole we recommend that you contact authorities or your local power company directly.
When you report a power issue using the Snap Send Solve app or form, you can make an impact on problems that may affect your local area, such as power outages. You can also be a part of helping issues that may cause potential risks and hazards.
By creating a Snap, you’ll be helping Solvers from your local power company resolve issues promptly.
Snap a power issue using Snap Send Solve to be a part of making your community cleaner, safer and better.
When you Snap a power issue in your area, your photos, notes and location information help the Solver at the power company or service provider pinpoint active issues and start working to Solve them.
A Solver from your local power company will send someone to assess the issue and make the appropriate next steps.
Some power companies and service providers will request that you contact them directly, which is an option that is made accessible on our app.
We’ve found that Snappers report high response rates and prompt resolutions when using Snap Send Solve, without time spent waiting on the phone or following up emails.
Snap using the app so you can easily track the progress in the History section, as well as provide feedback, along with your satisfaction rating.
Solvers each have their own customer service level standards and will provide feedback on your Snaps depending on their time and resources.
If your report isn’t Solved right away, you can also send a Nudge two weeks after sending your Snap, which is a friendly follow up signal to the Solver.
