Reporting new graffiti in the same old place?
It may not always feel like it, but you’re doing your part to dissuade repeated vandalism in your area. With a 21% increase of graffiti reports in Melbourne overall since the beginning of the year, it’s important to keep doing your bit.
Graffiti and other vandalism can lower property value in an area and project a poor image of your community.
Mornington Peninsula Shire puts this best:
"The longer the graffiti remains, the more offenders are ‘rewarded’ with increased recognition – rapid removal tends to discourage further attacks by lessening the impact of the graffiti.”
