It’s not every day you hear a radio host give a personal shout-out to an app, but that’s exactly what happened on 2GB Sydney recently. During a lively segment, host Luke Grant sat down with our CEO, Danny Gorog, to discuss how Snap Send Solve is changing the way Sydneysiders interact with their local councils.
Luke didn't hold back on his praise, calling it a "brilliant application" and sharing his own success stories of reporting broken footpaths and infrastructure issues.
One of the main talking points was the sheer frustration of traditional reporting. Luke pointed out that calling the council can often feel like a dead end, especially when trying to report overgrown grass or broken bins.
"How many times have you rung a council... and nothing ever seems to get done?" Luke asked. "Snap Send Solve is a good thing... you take a picture of it, you send it in, it goes to the council or whoever is responsible... and they fix it."
Danny provided a deep dive into the data for New South Wales, revealing just how active the community has been over the past year.
The most impressive takeaway from the interview was the app's effectiveness. Danny shared that according to Snapper feedback, 9 out of 10 reports get resolved.
From the Inner West Council using QR codes in parks to the thousands of damaged playground reports handled every year, the app serves as a digital bridge that turns a resident's frustration into a council's work order.
