2. Information we collect
When You download and use our App and/or any other service or application of Snap Send Solve, we may collect usage information and device information as outlined below.
The information Snap Send Solve collects is what You tell Snap Send Solve about Yourself and information about how You use the App and Services, such as personal information You tell Snap Send Solve about Yourself (including Your name, Your phone number and street address) and using the App and location. By using the App and Services, You authorise us to collect your information such as your username, name, email address and any other personal information available on or through your use of the App.
We may also collect information relating to your use of our App and Services and if You contact Snap Send Solve, Snap Send Solve may keep a record of that correspondence. Snap Send Solve may also draw upon this information in order to adapt the Services to your needs, to research the effectiveness of Snap Send Solve’s network and Services, and to develop new tools for the Services. Where possible, Snap Send Solve endeavours to limit Snap Send Solve’s collection of Your personal information.
If You do not provide personal information Snap Send Solve may not be able to provide you with the Services.
3. Location data
You agree and consent to Snap Send Solve’s use of Your location data where applicable. When You use the App and the Service, and send a report, Snap Send Solve receives and records information on its server logs from Your mobile platform, including Your location. Snap Send Solve treats this data as non-personal information, except where Snap Send Solve are required to do otherwise under applicable law.
To best manage information such as location data, You may disable the tracking functionalities on Your Device, although the App and the Services will not operate to their full capacity and if You do not provide the location You will not be able to file a report.
4. Device Information
Snap Send Solve may collect information about your device when you use the App including the unique device identifier, device model, operating system, and MAC address. Additionally, when you use our Service, our server may send small data files known as ‘cookies’ and other similar technologies to your device. A cookie file can contain information, such as a user ID which the website uses to track the pages you have visited. You can refuse all cookies by turning them off in your Device however, our App and Services may not operate to their full capacity without cookies enabled.
The App is not aimed at children under 18 years old and Snap Send Solve do not knowingly collect, use, provide or process in any other form any personal information of children under the age of 18 deliberately.
6. Using and disclosing Your personal information
Snap Send Solve’s purpose in collecting information about You is to provide You with Services that You request and to operate Snap Send Solve’s business efficiently.
The circumstances in which Snap Send Solve may disclose information about You are limited, but may include:
when required by law;
for marketing purposes when You have given Your consent;
to an organisation that is an affiliate of Snap Send Solve Pty Ltd or a partner of Snap Send Solve (including, for example, local authorities to manage the report you have lodged via the App), either in Australia or overseas;
when Snap Send Solve believe it necessary to provide You with a service which You have requested, such as contacting You about Your use of the App;
to protect Snap Send Solve rights, property or personal safety or those of another customer or any member of the public; and
in the event that the assets and operations of Snap Send Solve’s business are transferred to another party as a going concern.
Snap Send Solve may also share or disclose Your de-identified information (including where aggregated with other user’s information) or otherwise non-personal information with third parties for industry or statistical analysis.
7. Service providers
Like many businesses, Snap Send Solve uses a range of service providers to help Snap Send Solve maximise the quality and efficiency of Snap Send Solve services and Snap Send Solve business operations. This means that third parties will sometimes have access to personal information held by Snap Send Solve and may use it on Snap Send Solve’s behalf only to the extent that it is reasonably necessary to provide the Services. Snap Send Solve require its service providers to respect the confidentiality of information that they handle on Snap Send Solve’s behalf, and not to keep this information any longer than required for the performance of services to Snap Send Solve or use it for unauthorised purposes.

If at any time You want to know exactly what personal information Snap Send Solve holds about You, You are welcome to request access to Your record. Please contact Snap Send Solve as set out below. Snap Send Solve will endeavour to respond to requests within the time allowed by all applicable privacy laws and will make every effort to respond as accurately and completely as possible following Your request. If at any time You wish to change personal information that is inaccurate or out of date, please let Snap Send Solve know and Snap Send Solve will amend Snap Send Solve records. If You wish to have Your personal information deleted, please let Snap Send Solve know and Snap Send Solve will take all reasonable steps to delete it unless Snap Send Solve need to keep it for legal reasons. If access or corrections cannot be provided, Snap Send Solve will notify You within 30 days, in writing, of the reasons for the refusal.
10. Storage and security of Your personal information
Snap Send Solve endeavours to take all reasonable steps to keep secure any information which Snap Send Solve holds about You, and to keep this information accurate and up to date where possible. Your information is stored on secure servers that are protected in controlled facilities. Snap Send Solve requires Snap Send Solve employees and data processors to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by Snap Send Solve. Unfortunately no website or Internet transmission is ever completely secure and although we will take steps to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee that unauthorised access, hacking, data loss or other breaches will never occur.
